Organic Amla Powder

Amla is also known as amalaki or Indian gooseberry. Amla is a green fruit similar to a gooseberry, with an interesting sweet-and-sour taste. In Ayurveda, it is regarded as the fruit of youth and beauty. In the East, amla is celebrated as a divine gift to humanity. It is found in the low-lying mountainous regions of the Indian subcontinent. The amla fruit is simply dried and gently ground into a fine powder. According to Ayurveda, amla balances all three vital energies (vata, pitta and kapha).

Amla is exceptionally rich in vitamin C (approximately 4 g per 100 g of powder). It also contains numerous antioxidants, tannins, flavonoids, lipids, vitamins and minerals, as well as other essential oils.

Store in a cool, dry place. Keep this dietary supplement out of the reach of children!
