Muira Puama
Muira Puama, also known as ‘wooden power’, is a plant species native to the Amazon rainforest in Brazil. The botanical name of the plant is Ptychopetalum olacoides. The leaves and bark of the plant are used to prepare medicinal preparations, which are taken orally in the form of teas, tinctures or dietary supplements. Muira Puama has long been used in traditional medicine for various purposes, particularly to improve sexual function and libido.

Usage and recommended daily intake
Prepare a tea using warm (not hot) water with Muire Puame powder, or add it to fruit juice, water or another tea. The recommended daily dose is 1–2 grams or less than half a teaspoon.
