Ras al Hanout is a Moroccan spice blend of the highest quality. It is particularly characteristic of Morocco, Algeria and Tunisia. In Arabic, it means the very best that a spice merchant can offer. It is a blend of the most renowned spices, containing at least a dozen of them in varying proportions. Ras al hanout is a special, mystical blend, as no two recipes are the same. Our blend is prepared according to a traditional recipe from Moroccan master chefs. In Morocco, it is used on special occasions and in the preparation of special dishes.

In terms of flavour, the blend can be compared to Indian curry or garam masala, but all three blends have their own distinctive characteristics that give them their typical flavour.

That pleasantly sweet scent of cloves, the warm, woody aroma of cinnamon and the strong scent of cumin that you can taste on your tongue. This special blend is a real treat.

Uses

This aromatic blend can be used to prepare a variety of dishes, such as couscous, rice or pasta, as well as chicken and fish, pork and beef, potatoes, pulses, sweet potatoes, lentils, various soups and other stews.

Ingredients

Coriander, allspice, cinnamon, chilli, pepper, cardamom, ginger, cumin, fennel, nutmeg, star anise, orange peel, Greek hay, bay leaf.

May contain traces of chives and mustard.

Storage

Store in a dry, dark and cool place. Ensure that the bag or box is tightly sealed.

Packaging

An airtight zip-lock bag, in which the product retains all its freshness and aroma. The packaging protects against light and air, as it consists of several layers of protection that preserve the properties of the contents.

The packaging is very practical and can be recycled.
