Description
A digital thermometer with such a wide measurement range is an indispensable tool in every home. The thermometer has 4 function buttons that are very easy to use. Use the ① ON/OFF button to switch the thermometer on or off. Use the ② °C /°F button to select the unit of measurement. Press the ③ HOLD button to pause the measurement, making it easier to read the temperature. Pressing the HOLD button again prepares the thermometer for the next measurement. Pressing the ④ MAX/MIN button first displays the highest temperature measured; pressing it again displays the lowest temperature measured. The data is cleared by pressing the MAX/MIN button a third time.
The temperature of the substance being measured is displayed within 4–7 seconds.
Usage
Suitable for accurate temperature measurement of food and liquids in the kitchen and around the home.
Also useful for measuring the temperature of baby food during weaning, the temperature of milk or the temperature of water in a baby bath. It also accurately measures the temperature of frying oil, meat in the oven or on the barbecue, and the temperature of chocolate when making chocolate treats, where temperature is very important. You can also use it to check whether your alcoholic drink is sufficiently chilled for drinking.
After use, simply wipe the product with a damp cloth.

Appearance and dimensions
The product is made of stainless steel (the tip or temperature probe) and a plastic casing with an LCD display. The thermometer measures 22.7 cm, whilst the measuring probe measures 14.8 cm.
The product requires an RL44 battery to operate, which is available in almost any well-stocked shop.
